One Custom Adapter For The In-Ear Headset You Already Fly.

Pilot and most general-aviation in-ear headsets ship with generic tips that leak, ache, and work loose on long legs. We mold a custom adapter to the exact shape of your ear so your headset seals soft, stays put, and sounds the way it should — no matter how long the flight.

Before you order — please read

Hand-built to order. It takes time, by design.

Every pair is molded to an impression of your ear and built one at a time, by hand, in our South Carolina lab. Nothing is pulled off a shelf — which is why it fits like nothing else, and why it’s worth the wait. Plan on 35–40 business days of build time (about 7–8 weeks) from the day your impressions reach us. With the impression kit and return shipping on the front end, the full timeline from order to doorstep runs longer still. If you need protection for something next week, this isn’t it — but if you want the best-fitting protection you’ll ever wear, it’s worth every day.

1Order today

Pay in full and reserve your place in the build queue.

2Impressions — the clock starts

Your home kit ships out. The 35–40 business days begin the day your impressions reach our lab, so send them back quickly.

3Hand-built & shipped

Crafted to your exact ear with an update at every stage, then shipped to you with tracking.

The problem

A generic tip can’t seal an ear it was never shaped to.

It fit fine on the ground. Two hours in, it’s backing out, leaking, and aching — and every broken seal lets the cabin and engine noise flood back in. You reseat, you adjust, and you never quite settle.

The headset’s fine. The one-size tip is the weak link — so we replace it with one built for your ear.

The fix

A seal built from your ear.

We take an impression of your ear and hand-build a custom adapter that mates to your in-ear headset. It seats once, seals completely, and disappears — no reseating, no leak, no ache.

A consistent seal means cleaner comms, less fatigue, and a headset you stop thinking about so you can just fly.

1Order & pay

Pick your finish and check out. You pay in full today and your build slot is reserved.

2Impression kit

It ships right away. Mold both ears at home in 10–15 minutes with a guided video, or visit a provider.

3We hand-build

Crafted in the USA to your exact anatomy — with updates at every stage.

4Fly

It ships with tracking. Fit it to your headset and the difference is immediate.

The part nobody warns you about

One tip shape. Every ear ever made.

Whatever headset you fly, the tip in the box was moulded once and shipped to everyone. Ear canals are not one shape — they differ left to right on the same pilot. So a generic tip lands where it lands, and its edges press wherever your ear happens to be narrow.

That produces the two complaints we hear more than any others. It never quite seals, so you are flying with less protection and less clarity than the headset can deliver. And it hurts immensely after a long enough period, which is why the last hour of a long leg is spent fidgeting instead of flying.

A custom adapter is built from an impression of your own ears, in a soft silicone with no rigid edges. It seals because it is your shape, and it stays comfortable because there is no rim to concentrate pressure. Most pilots describe it the same way: they forget it is in.

Slides straight on

The adapter friction-fits onto your headset — it slides on easily and holds. No glue, no tools, no modification.

Every intra-ear headset

If it is an in-ear model, we build for it — and if you are unsure, tell us what you own and we will confirm before you buy.

Left and right, separately

Your ears are not identical, so we do not build them as though they were.

Generations ahead of generic

It is the difference our customers name most often — not a better tip, a different category of fit.

Straight answers

The questions every pilot asks.

Will it fit my headset?
We adapt most general-aviation in-ear headsets, including Pilot Communications models. Tell us your exact headset when you order and we confirm the fit before we build a thing.
Will I still hear ATC and alerts?
Yes — more clearly. A clean, consistent seal sharpens the audio, and you set volume as always.
Is it comfortable on long flights?
Yes. Custom fit spreads pressure across your ear instead of poking a few spots — no hot spots on a long leg.
How do you get my impression without an audiologist?
Home impression kit and a guided video — about 10–15 minutes with a helper, 99% right the first try — or visit a provider.
Is the headset included?
No. This is a custom adapter for the in-ear headset you already own.
How long, and will I know where it is?
35–40 business days, hand-built, with an update at every stage.
Not sure it fits my model?
Start an order and tell us your headset — we confirm the fit before we build, and our Perfect-Fit Promise covers you either way.
What if the fit isn’t right?
Perfect-Fit Promise — we adjust or remake it until it is.
My ears ache after a couple of hours. Will this help?
That is the most common reason pilots come to us. A generic tip is one shape for every ear, so its edges press wherever your canal is narrow. Ours is moulded from your ears in a soft silicone with no rigid edges, which spreads the contact instead of concentrating it.
How does it attach — does it modify the headset?
No modification at all. The adapter friction-fits onto your headset and slides on easily. No glue, no tools, and it comes off whenever you want.
